How to Add A Strava Widget to Your Blog
There are a lot of cycling apps out there to help you track your progress, but my favorite right now is Strava. It allows you to compete against other riders times on the routes, or “segments”, that you log using the app.
Today I found out that you can embed your most recent rides onto your own blog or website. Here’s how.
1. Go to your Strava Profile page.
Strava usually opens with your dashboard, so you’ll have to hover over your account name in the upper right hand corner and naviaget to your profile.
2. Look for Share your Rides in the right hand column.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Share your Rides button.
3. Choose your display option.
Strava offers to options, an activity widget and a summary widget. Copy the embed code under the option you want to display on your site.
4. Add the code to your site.
I added my activity feed to this site by using a widget in my sidebar. Your options may differ depending on where you want to place it on your site.
